PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

This candidate will run the summer internship program. The intern will lead the recruiting and onboarding efforts for summer interns, create a summer intern program, plan training and activities, supervise the other interns, and assist the Human Resources team with other miscellaneous tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create a summer intern program for 30+ summer interns.
  • Lead the summer intern program.
  • Meet with managers to find out the intern needs for each department and set expectations.
  • Post open positions on job boards and screen candidates.
  • Schedule interviews with managers.
  • Attend job fairs.
  • Miscellaneous HR tasks

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Degree Preferred

Sophomore or Junior status working towards Bachelor of Science in Human Resources.

Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications

  • Evidence of an ability to work effectively as a member of a cross functional / cross discipline team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Background with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office.
  • Technical communication skills.
  • Demonstrates good time management skills.
  • Able to multitask.
