This position will lead all facility matters for the office area, shipping, lab, reception, security, and cafeteria. Site management to include the main property as well as a smaller property that will/may be subleased. The role will be the main interface between our company and the landlord as well as adherence to all lease obligations.


 Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall safety, security, and cleanliness of the
  • Acting as a liaison between the users of the facility and the various operations which serve them with a focus on customer
  • Coordinate room set-ups for major events, meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain and monitor equipment in the
  • Reviews proposals for equipment and makes formal recommendations related to purchases; serves as a central point for vendors and user-customers.
  • Completion and filing incident and maintenance reports as
  • Provide leadership and direction to contractors and
  • Manage electric, HVAC maintenance, plumbing and lighting issues for the
  • Jointly work with the landlord to ensure that the building 1s within fire, building and safety
  • Responsible for operating cost budget adherence and
  • Oversight  of  all 3rd party site roles  such  as receptions,  security services, etc.
  • Interface for managing lab related needs (equipment moves, installs, etc.).

Works closely with functional leaders and administrative team for day to day matters such as people moves, event planning, shipping matters, cafeteria management, parking, housekeeping, etc.

Job Requirements

Years of Experience

3+ years' facility management experience, 2+ years' supervisory experience

Degree Preferred

College degree (BS or BA) or equivalent.

 Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications

  • First aid/safety/disaster recovery training.
  • Office equipment
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Electrical system
  • Bu1ld1ng and safety code knowledge
  • Previous experience with Security systems software (Security Card Access, CCTV)
  • Leadership or management expenence
  • Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions relating to building security
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with a large team
  • Flexibility
